Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your browser when you visit. They help the site remember things — like whether you've accepted the cookie notice — so it doesn't have to ask you every time.
Some cookies are essential for a site to function at all. Others are optional and help us understand how people use our site so we can make it better. This page explains what cookies Ilmu Labs uses, why, and how you can control them.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies — These are necessary for the site to work. They handle things like cookie preference storage and basic site security. They cannot be turned off.
Analytics Cookies — These help us understand how visitors use our site: which pages they visit, how long they stay, and where they come from. We use this to improve the site and our programmes. All data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
Marketing Cookies — These track visits to our site from advertising channels and help us understand whether our marketing is reaching the right people. We use this data internally; we do not share it with ad networks for targeting.
Preference Cookies — These remember settings you've chosen, such as your cookie preferences, so you're not asked again on return visits.
Third-Party Cookies
Where we use third-party services (such as analytics tools or embedded content), those services may set their own cookies. These include:
- Google Analytics — for aggregated usage statistics
- Payment processors — session cookies used during checkout
We do not use social media tracking pixels by default. If this changes, we'll update this policy.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: Deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: Remain until their set expiry date or until you delete them. Our preference cookie (which stores your cookie choices) lasts for 12 months.
Your Cookie Preferences
Manage your preferences below. Changes take effect immediately and are saved to your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.
